Privacy policy

This policy explains how personal data is processed in the Saia service. Updated 12 August 2026.

Data controller

Humat Oy (business ID FI33703423) is responsible for personal data processing in the Saia service. Contact: hello@saia.fi.

Data we process

• Contact form data: name, email address, company details and message content when you contact us.
• Communication data processed on behalf of our customers: Saia processes end-customer messages on behalf of our business customers — including messages, call recordings and their transcripts.
• Technical identifiers: Meta integration identifiers such as WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) IDs, Facebook Page IDs, and access tokens.

Purpose and legal basis

We process data to route customer-service messages and produce responses. The legal bases are contract and legitimate interest in providing the service.

Sub-processors and data location

We use trusted processors: Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger), Twilio (calls and messaging), ElevenLabs (speech synthesis), our large language model provider (response generation), and Hetzner (server infrastructure). Data is processed within the EU.

Retention

We retain data for 12 months by default, or per customer contract. Data is deleted when no longer needed for the processing purpose.

Cookies

The website uses Google Analytics for traffic measurement, which sets cookies. We do not use other tracking cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data; restrict and object to processing; and receive your data in a portable format. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority. Requests: hello@saia.fi.
